What stops most people from taking action? There are many reasons why most people don’t take action. I will go over some common reasons, or excuses. A reason why people do not take action is because of fear. Fear is the thief of your dreams. Many people fear what may not even happen. In some cases, fear is condition that results from a lack of confidence or self esteem. It’s a paralyzer. Fear stops people from succeeding and reaching their highest potential. We have fear but we can’t let it stop us.

Another reason that stops people from taking action is their own self limiting beliefs. You have to believe that you can accomplish any goal. Your actions dictate what you believe consciously or subconsciously. No matter what excuses we give, the only ones we are fooling is ourselves. Believe you can make a difference and take action.

A third reason why most people don’t take action is because of the hard work that’s required. After working forty to sixty hours a week, who wants to work hard building a business? People are conditioned to work at a job, not hard for themselves. Working hard for yourself is challenging because it requires mental energy to remain persistent and consistent. When you lack mental energy, it’s difficult to work hard. Nevertheless, people make excuses to avoid working hard.

In conclusion, these are some reasons why most people do not take action. If anything good is worth having, it’s worth working for. Some folks are too concerned of what friends and family will think of them. Because of this, they do not take action. The difference between your dream and reality is your action.
