“Are Your Dreams Worth Fighting For?”

“If you don’t have dreams you’ll end working for people who do”

We all have dreams of becoming someone successful in life. We want to be a person of influence that contributes to the lives of others in some major way. Perhaps you want to be a good politician that serves the people, not special interest groups. Maybe you want to be an entrepreneur that creates products or services that will positively serve  the global community. Whatever you desire to do, starts with a dream. Dreams and vision is what inspire common men to accomplish uncommon things.

A dream is nothing more than an idea that has not yet come to fruition. The more attention and focus you give to it, the more it expands in your mind to become a reality. The ability to imagine and create is one of the things that separates human beings from animals. It’s one of the reasons we are the crown of God’s creation.

Unfortunately, many people today, have given up on their dreams. They gave up the great to settle for the ok. The quote says, “if you don’t have dreams, you’ll end up working for those who do”. There is nothing wrong with working for others, but there is something wrong with coming to the end of life with regrets. I truly believe that no man wants to reach the end of his life, never giving himself a chance. Sadly, this the case for many individuals. They never give themselves a chance and they allow their excuses to be bigger than their why.

Any dream worth having, is a dream worth fighting for. It’s easy to say that doesn’t work, it’s easy to say i’m not cut out for this. It’s easy to say I come from the wrong environment so I won’t succeed. Napoleon Hill, the author of “think and grow rich” says “what the mind of a man can conceive and believe, it can achieve”. It has nothing to do with your background or anything else external.

In conclusion, birds of a feather, flock together. Never let anything or anyone affect your dreams. The minute you do, you have given up on your hopes, aspirations and desires to be successful. Surround yourself with people who get it. These are people who think uncommonly as yourself. Allow your dreams to take you to the top because the bottom is always crowded.

Success is found in consistency.

There are reasons why people quit. Some of those reasons are fear, unbelief, adversity and others. What usually happens is people will watch a video or read a blog of a guy stating that he got 25 sign ups in three days or something.

When people see this, they try it for a few days. As soon as they do not get identical results, they give up and quit. What folks don’t understand is that there was a process of consistent work that was implemented day in and day out, to get those kind of results.

image

No one starts out a six figure earner. You must consistently promote and market YOURSELF. Notice I didn’t say opportunity. You must market yourself.

A lack of consistency contributes to a person quitting and calling this industry a scam. Consistency is not talked about enough. You don’t start something for a month, then stop, thinking any day you’re gonna hit the lottery.

image

We have to get rid of this lotto mentality when it comes to network marketing. Rome wasn’t built over night and neither will your business. You can get uncommon results but you have to understand that uncommon results come from uncommon actions.

You have to be able to account for your daily income producing activities period. The truth of the matter is that most people are not reading anything to get better. They are not watching material to learn how to build their business. They don’t listen to training calls or attend conference events. Moreover, they do not connect with people. No wonder why they are not getting the results they want.

This business is called network marketing. Most people leave the work part out of it. There is a work involved and that work must be done consistently.

A Dream That Can’t Be Shattered

image.jpeg

Dreams are imaginations that you project in your mind. They are desires or fantasies that we usually wish to become a reality. We all have dreams. We have them for ourselves and we have them for our family. Dreams are a part of what makes people get out of bed in the morning. No one can fulfill our dreams for us. It is our duty and responsibility. Sometimes, people say discouraging things to shatter your dreams. Often times, it’s because they have don’t have any themselves. Ambitious people have dreams that can’t be shattered.

image

Its hard to beat a man who doesn’t give up. His dreams are too important to settle for mediocrity. Focus on where you want to go, then plan accordingly. You have a dream that can’t be shattered. A dream that’s worth the grind. You’ll realize that your dream is not just about you. It’s about the millions of lives that will be changed.

image

Many people have allowed their dreams to become nightmares. This is due to a lack of action, wrong network and negative mindset. It is also important to understand that a dream without a plan is just a wish. Many people have been wishing for too long. Wishing this would work, wishing things would get better. A dream that can’t be shattered makes things work, makes things better. Many communities are stricken with lack not only because of less resources. They are so due to a lack of dreaming and planning. You have a dream that can’t be shattered.

Don’t Let Quitting Get You Down( what quitting does to the soul)

image

We’ve all started things and then quit. Some of those things were school, businesses, jobs etc. There were probably hundreds of excuses that we could have given, but the fact of the matter is that we quit. If we’re honest, we will admit that we quit on ourselves. We quit on our goals and our dreams. We all know the ole saying: quitters never win and winners never quit.

Giving up is not a good feeling. We try to justify it, but it does not work. Quitting is hard on the soul because it makes us feel like failures internally. We often try to make up for it by trying something else. As soon as we give up on that, we start searching for something else yet again.

image

It is said that most businesses have a 90 percentile failure rate. Could it be that  many of the individuals running these enterprises failed by quitting? Short comings are a reality in business and life. I’ve mentioned before that when you start something and then quit, you develop the habitual pattern of starting and quitting. This practice doesn’t serve you nor get you closer to your goal. It actually damages your chances for any kind of success.

image

Quitting something that you know you should finish, gives you a sense of un-accomplishment. Even if this is the case in your life right now, you can still turn it around. The only thing that matters is your decision and your actions to succeed. Don’t let quitting get you down. Even if you quit on God, God will not quit on you. He is faithful and just to forgive you. So forgive yourself for quitting. Get back up and serve the Lord thy God. Don’t let quitting get you down.

When Your Passion Consumes You

image

We all have a passion for something. It could be speaking, writing or building. The definition of passion is a strong or uncontrollable emotion. There is probably something exciting in your life that you enjoy, which makes you feel this way. You think about it day and night. You dream about bringing that thing to fruition. When you have conversations with people, you can’t help but to bring it up. This is what happens when you have a passion that consumes you.

In St.John 2:17, the bible reads, and his disciples remembered that it is written the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up. What is the zeal that is eating you up? What is that zeal that makes people think you’re crazy. Furthermore, what is the zeal that makes you think you’re crazy? This is what happens when your passion consumes you.

image

I don’t want to be a passionless individual. For me, there has got to be something that gets me out of bed in the morning. There has got to be something that makes me say yes, I’m alive!! I’m afraid that many people have no zeal. They have no passion, they have no fire. These folks drift aimlessly through life. Some of them are mad at the world because they didn’t make anything out of themselves.

When you have a passion that consumes you, you’ll walk with a new walk. You’ll talk a new talk and you’ll have a new found perspective on life. Welcome to the new you. When people have a passion so intense, they don’t worry what others are doing. They are focused on their goals and the task at hand. They have no time to play games, there is much work to do.

image

In conclusion, when your passion consumes you, your whole demeanor will change. What you took for granted, You now acknowledge as a gift. Let your passion consume you.

Dreams Don’t Fail, People Do

doubt kills more dreams images

Perhaps, your dream is to become a speaker, entrepreneur or educator. Somehow, things didn’t work out that way. You say to yourself, maybe it wasn’t meant to be. Instead of becoming what you wanted, you became what you didn’t want. So you gave up on your dreams. There is a popular quote that says, if you don’t have dreams, you will continue to work for those who do.

When I got into my business, my sponsor told me that “this business is 80%mental and 20% physical. He then told me that I would quit on him before he quit on me. I thought about that statement. I realized that dreams don’t fail, People do. It’s amazing how we quit our business and say it failed me. I think it is more noble to say I failed instead of my business failed. If someone is succeeding in the same business you’re failing in, it’s not the business. It’s you!

We give up on our business, we give up on our marriage, we give up on life. Is there anything we don’t give up on? We must get rid of the “I will try it for a month to see what happens mentality”. Our dreams don’t fail us we fail our dreams. It is always easy to blame something or someone other than ourselves. This is because we don’t have the courage to admit we failed. In the past, I joined many business programs to support my dreams. I made lots of mistakes and quit. I did not regard the value that was offered to me. Today, it’s a different story.

In conclusion, dreams don’t fail, people do. We are the ones responsible for fulfilling our dreams. They will not get realized without our effort. When it’s all said and done, the person responsible for any failure is you. Leaders accept success and failure. Dr. Martin Luther King had a dream. So should you.

What Is Your Why?

when-you-feel-like-quitting-think-about-why-you-started

Before you get started in network marketing, you’ve got to have a why for joining an organization. Maybe your why is to build a business that you can pass on to your family. So you don’t want your children slaving away at a job for the next twenty years. Perhaps, you want to start some type of charity or foundation that benefits the global community as a whole.

Network marketing comes with challenges like any traditional business does. A common challenge is hearing a family member ask you, is that one of those pyramid things? Or why don’t you get a real job? When one hears such statements, the tendency to question oneself about joining a network marketing company arises. On top of that, it seems like no one wants to buy your products and services. Heck, you can barely give it away.

It is in times like this that you must remember your why. Your why is the reminder for why you joined the home business industry. You have to keep your goals in mind to assist you in making them a reality. It is quite discouraging to go without sales for months, even years, and still maintain your why. This is the point where many distributors give up. We must continue forward. Your why must be bigger than your excuses. When you sign up to become an independent business owner, you are participating in something bigger than yourself. It is an honor to be exposed to some information that could radically change your life and the lives of those you love.

In conclusion, maintain your why by listening to training calls, reading personal development books and read books about the industry for motivation. Try different ways to get people to honestly see what your company has to offer. Rome wasn’t built in one day and neither will your business. Hold on to your why and move forward, for there is no success in moving backward.

Much Success,

Calvin Moss
