The Truth About Solo Ads

image

Okay for this article I’m going to be completely honest and tell you the truth about solo ads. This post is not going to be long at all. I’m going to say what I want to say and leave it at that. This article is based upon my personal experience and may be much different from yours and that’s okay. It may seem like i’m ranting a little but I want to be honest and hopefully save you some time and money.

What are solo ads?

Solo ads, in a nutshell, are basically Money making or internet marketing opportunity ads that a seller posts online. The visitor sees the ad, has an interest, and fills out a form wanting to know how to make money online. The seller collects their email and name and sells it to the purchaser (you and me)for as low as 5o cents to as much as 1.50 per click. The seller has lots of names and email addresses of people who want info on a money making opportunity. As soon as you make your purchase of clicks that you want, your opportunity will be shown to the people who requested more information based on the amount of clicks you bought. Your program will be shown via email. If the visitor, otherwise known as the prospect, likes your opportunity, they will invest in the business and you will have a sale.

Pros and Cons

Obviously there are pros and cons with solo ads just like anything else right? First I’ll start with the pros. Solo ads are probably the fastest way to build your list. The bigger your list, the greater the chance you stand to make a lot of money. Some people say the money is in the list. I think the money is in the value that you offer to your list. With a single purchase, you can have hundreds of leads going through your funnel. The key word here is leverage. If you don’t have much money to invest, you can buy a solo ad for as low as 4o, 50 bucks.

The Cons of solo ads are you can lose a lot of money by buying solos that are crap. Some solo ad sellers are scamming purchasers out of their money by selling old leads or clicks. Sometimes these clicks are bots. The thing that I don’t like is if you get clicks that do not convert to sales, there is really no remedy. You have to take a loss. The thing with solo ads is that you never know what kind of traffic your getting or if they are really targeted as the sellers claim they are. You may get one sale out of one hundred clicks but it is what it is. It’s the risk you take.

In conclusion, This is the truth about solo ads in my opinion. Again, your experience may be different. I want to share a story with you in regards to solo ads. I’ve purchased quite a few solo ads from different vendors. I want to share the one big loss that really opened my eyes and revealed to me the truth about solo ads. I recently purchased 500 clicks from a guy that calls himself the king of solo ads. He’s known as the go to guy for solo ads.

Anyway, it was my first run with him so I decided to take the leap of faith and put up 700 bucks for 500 clicks. While I did get about a 4o-50% opt in, I only got one upfront sale! Now “what a minute” I thought to myself. This guy who is supposed to be the solo ad guru produced average results for me. I was expecting at least 4-5 upfront sales but it didn’t happen that way. I

t was shocking because he’s considered “the guy”. Boy did I learn my lesson. I’ve purchased lower amount of clicks and got better results than this guy’s deal. In my humble opinion, you can get sales from solo ads, however, they are low performing and not the best source of quality traffic.

Fortunately for me I’ve discovered a trusted traffic source that I will use from now on. Not only did I get great results, I got outstanding customer service! Their traffic isn’t solo ads, google ads or Facebook ads. Check it out here.

It works better than those sources. Oh by the way, FB is not a fan of money making opportunities and will implement changes next year that will definitely affect internet marketers unless they are savvy and crafty enough to market their offers.

Currently, their offering a black Friday special until Monday night where you can take advantage of their quality traffic packages at discounted rates. Click here to check it out.

Do’s And Don’ts Of Network Marketing

do's and don't images

There are do’s and don’ts of network marketing. Most people are doing network marketing the wrong way. Because of this, prospects are treating network marketers like suspects. We all want financial and time freedom. We want to leave a legacy for our families to emulate. However, there is a certain way to go about achieving this. Network marketing is a people business. There is a protocol to connecting with people. So let’s get into the do’s and don’ts of network marketing.

1. Do respect the business of network marketing.

This is a business that can give you the quality of life that most people wish they had. When you respect this business, you will position yourself to prosper unlike any job could ever offer.

2. Do get as many eyeballs on your business as you can.

Network marketing requires you to get as much exposure as possible. Use offline and online strategies to do this. This business is a numbers game. So you will have to go through the numbers in order to get results. Period.

3. Do consider getting a blog.

A blog gives your visitors a chance to get to know who you are and what you do. Do you need a blog to make money? No. The reason why I recommend having a blog is because a blog allows you to brand yourself on the internet. People all the world can have the opportunity to connect with you while you are sitting at home! In addition, blogging lets you offer independent tips and training.

4. Do get a lead magnet or capture page to collect leads on your blog.

The reason why I say this is because you will have an additional way to collect leads. More importantly, the leads are already familiar with you and your offer.

This concludes the Do’s of network marketing. Now, I will cover the don’ts of network marketing.

1.Don’t spam your opportunity.

One thing people hate is spam. There must be something magical that we believe happens when we spam others with our opportunity. Maybe we believe prospects will get started with us if we send them an unsolicited link. The truth of the matter is you must build a relationship with your prospects BEFORE you send them some information. Never spam someone who didn’t request your link. Spamming makes people think your business is a scam. Furthermore, it makes you look unprofessional.

2. Don’t ignore offering value on social media.

If you look at many of the groups on Face book, you will notice that many of the net workers are posting their business. Everyone and their mother has a business. You must uniquely offer something of value that will make people think. Posting pictures of your pet and food is nice, but they don’t give people value. When you offer value online, you will attract prospects to you.

3. Don’t argue with people.

If someone says I quit, let them. They didn’t quit on you, they quit on themselves and their families. I find it amazing that we get started for selfish reasons and quit for selfish reasons. Don’t convince people to stay on board. If you convince them today, you will convince them tomorrow.

4. Don’t post pictures of money, or make income statements.

If you notice in many of the Face book groups, affiliate marketers post pictures of themselves holding large sums of money. They are indicating that you can make money fast. You and I both know that making money online with any business is not that easy. If you have a quality offer, it will take some time. When you make income statements, you contribute to the stigma that network marketing is shady.

In conclusion, these are the Do’s and Don’ts of network marketing. There are others to be mentioned though everyone’s experience will differ. Network marketing is about learning, doing and sharing. As we focus on the do’s, we will eliminate the don’ts.

Much Success,

Calvin Moss

Why Blogging Is Important For Your Network Marketing Home Business

Blogging is important for several reasons. First, blogging allows you to build rapport with your prospects easier than calling leads. Cold calling leads is not the best way to build a business. The reason why cold calling is not best is because prospects don’t know you. In addition to that, prospects do not want to be bothered with phone calls, especially during dinner time. A blog gives your prospect the time to read about you and your work, then decide whether or not if they want to work with you. When a prospect knows more about you, they lower their guard. The more you blog, the more prospects learn. The more they learn, the more inclined they are to join with you.

The second reason why having a blog is important is because blogging establishes you as an authority. When people decide to start a home business, they want to get started with someone who knows how to do this business. Most new beginners don’t want to call leads and prospect in malls. Moreover, prospects don’t want to call friends and family. By blogging, you can offer alternative solutions to help business associates recruit reps instead of using old school tactics.

The third reason why blogging is imperative for a home business is because it helps you to generate leads faster and easier. Instead of chasing prospects to join your MLM, why not have prospects chase you? When you have a steady flow of leads, you position yourself for better success.

The fourth reason why blogging is essential for your network marketing business is because blogging will market your profile more efficiently. The more you market, the greater the exposure you will receive. Marketing is vital to your business. What 95% of home business owners do is market their opportunity. As a result, prospects disregard those unsolicited links of net workers they do not know.

In conclusion, having a blog is a must for your network marketing business. Not only will you position yourself as a leader, you will increase your sign ups and sales.

Much Success,

Calvin Moss

Why Posting Free Classified Ads Don’t Work

ads images

When affiliate marketers or network marketers start a business, they usually start without a large advertising budget. Due to the lack of funds, entrepreneurs turn to free classified ads for exposure. The issue with posting free ads is that every business owner or affiliate is posting free information. Just look at any website offer free ads.

There are tens of thousands of advertisements and many entrepreneurs are posting the same exact thing. So how does a prospect decide which business program to join? Posting free ads on classified websites do not work because everyone and their mama are listing ads. So it’s really hard to distinguish which business program is a fit.

I have heard of people doing well with free face book advertising. However, you have to be savvy when you market to prospects. You cannot across as a spam artist. Nevertheless, paid over free advertising is best unless you are doing video marketing. Google and face book pay-per-click ads work well assuming you have a budget. If not, you tube video marketing is the way to go. Mostly, anything free will yield poor conversion results.

In conclusion, free classified are time consuming because you are competing with other marketers for the attention of the prospect. In addition to that, there are too many ads for the prospect to sift through. Paid classified are less time consuming because only a handful of marketers are willing to pay, or are able to pay, for ad space. Therefore, your campaign will be seen by more prospects. As a result, you will make more sales.

Much success,

Your Comfort Zone Is Your Danger Zone

comfort 2a

Getting out of your comfort zone is a prerequisite to graduate the school of success. There are people who refuse to get out of their comfort zone due to fear of failure and ridicule. Fear is paralyzing to success. Your comfort zone is your danger zone because it stops you from progress. Your comfort zone will conform you to a life of insignificance. Life is not meant to conform but to transform.

comfort 1

There is an ole’ saying that goes if you do what’s easy, life will be hard. If you do what’s hard, life will be easy. Getting out of your comfort zone is not easy. It is perhaps the reason why people stay there. We have to aspire to reach higher and doing so requires hard work. Any major accomplishment demands a change of mind. The reason why, is because the same mind that created your comfort zone must be replaced with a new mindset. If we continue to stay in our comfort zone, our life journey will reflect a road less traveled.

One way to get out of your comfort zone is to join a toastmasters club. Toastmasters specializes in helping people to get out of their comfort zone through public speaking. The organization has helped millions of people become leaders in their respective fields. Although most people would rather die than give a talk, it is still a great way to get out of your comfort zone.

comfort 2

Another way to get out of your comfort zone is to just say hello to people! This too is a challenge because people typically don’t like to speak or even say thank you. As a New Yorker, I can identify. There were many times I should have said hello and thank you to someone but I refused. I believe it had something to do with me remaining in my comfort zone.

In conclusion, your comfort zone is your danger zone because it destroys your progress in life. The longer you stay in your comfort zone, the longer you prohibit yourself from taking the actions that are necessary for success.
