Your Daily Routine


Success doesn’t occur from something that you do once. Success results from what you do on a regular basis. Most people come home from work and do what they have to do family wise but business wise, they do little to nothing. Maybe send an email or post a couple of internet ads. If you look at what successful people do and what unsuccessful people do, you’ll notice a huge difference.

At the end of the day, you must be able to account for the activity that you did. You are accountable for your daily routine. It’s funny how people say they don’t have time to do this or that, but they have time to watch TV. Then when you take an inventory of what they’re doing, the number is usually zero.


We all have busy lives. No one always has the perfect schedule. However, you are still accountable for maintaining your daily routine. With that being said, here are some tips for creating a daily routine:

  1. Get up an an hour earlier.
  2. Pray.
  3. Read a something on personal development.
  4. Create or share a piece of content.
  5. Exercise.
  6. Connect with more prospects.

These tips will assist you in increasing your chances for success. The main thing to do is be consistent.

Two reasons why people are not successful in MLM



It is said that approximately 97% of people who are in a network marketing or MLM company do not succeed. The question I have is why are not more people succeeding in network marketing? If people are succeeding, that means anyone can succeed. Then I looked at the business habits that the individuals who are successful have, and the habits that unsuccessful people have.

There was a HUGE difference. The successful ones were reading books, exercising, creating content and connecting with 10plus people per day.  Then I looked at the habits of the unsuccessful. They did no reading, didn’t create any content or give away anything of value. Rarely, did the unsuccessful connect with people. They worked their businesses when they felt like it. Nor did they attend conferences or training calls.

I want to address two of the popular reasons why people are unsuccessful and hopefully get people to see what they need to work on.

Starting and stopping

when most people get started in MLM, they tell everyone they know about this great opportunity they found. They’re reading the books that their sponsor recommended, listen to training calls and save some money to attend live events. After hearing no repeatedly and getting no shows, slowly network marketers become lazy and complacent with their business. Too much rejection and adversity causes them to stop working. So they take a break and that break turns into quitting.

Starting and stopping doesn’t build momentum. It actually stops your growth personally and professionally. There is no way to achieve any goal by starting and stopping. In addition to that, it becomes a habit. Starting and stopping leads to network marketers to believe that this business doesn’t work especially after they “tried”working the business but nothing is working.


Have nothing to offer

Another reason why people are unsuccessful is because they have nothing to offer. Most reps only have a company link as every other rep and nothing more. You have to give people a reason to join you. A link is not enough. In order to successful in network marketing, especially online, you need to have something to offer. Some kind of training on how to build your business on Facebook for example, is very value. If you don’t have a training of your own, you can leverage someone else’s training.

When you have training material that shows how to build a business, prospects are going to say this guy knows what he’s talking about, and will more likely join you because you gave them ideas on how to build their business. Keep in mind that the training that you offer must be different than the training that your company offers.

MLM Marketing Training

MLM marketing training is important for your network marketing business. The reason why is because the training will give you information that will assist you to get results in your business. One of the common complaints in home business is that I did everything my sponsor told me to do, I made a list of friends and family, I went to the malls and coffee shops. I did cold calling, gave out flyers and  I’m still not getting sales. This causes people to give up and believe that there is some special tip that is not disclosed to the network marketing industry.

Doing the above things still work but they do not work for everyone because our schedules and life vary from person to person. Network marketing is a business that either  punishes or rewards you for the career you had prior to network marketing. One of the reasons why some people advance quickly through the ranks is because they have a supportive warm market and business connections in their prior careers. They happen to be people of influence in many cases. Look at it like this, a person who is a director or manager in the corporate setting may have a rolodex of 1000 contacts. Because he is influential, he can make a phone call and get people to join him. In corporate America, people are making connections all day to advance their careers and companies. The average person doesn’t have those connections that’s why he or she is frustrated. For this reason, MLM marketing training is necessary to succeed in today’s network marketing era.

Another reason why you need marketing training is because a million people are promoting the same business program that you are marketing. Furthermore, there are millions more marketing something else. You are competing for the attention of your prospects along with other marketers. Why should they join you and not someone else?  Many networkers cannot answer that question so they continue to spam and pitch their business hoping to get someone to join them. You have to offer your prospect something that another marketer cannot. So because most network marketers have nothing else to offer besides a join me link, they continue to struggle. All of that can be changed with some marketing training.

In conclusion, we all need marketing training. We must be willing to learn and grow in order to succeed in MLM. This business is about building relationships. One of the best ways to build a relationship is to be a person of value and offer something for free. Your net worth is connected to your network. Your success is dependent on your personal development training and marketing training.

Four Reasons Why Prospects Say No To Network Marketing

There are reasons why prospects say no to network marketing. For many years, a stigma has been placed on MLM. People have associated network marketing to a four letter word. Individuals who joined the profession in the past and for some reason or another, got burned. So now, when you prospect them, they ask if this is network marketing. As soon as you say yes, they hang up on you.

You and I know that MLM is a legitimate business. We’ve done our due diligence and understand the business model. So what’s the problem? Let’s talk about the reasons why prospects say no.

Reason #1. I got burned.

From time to time, you will come across former network marketers who say I was in one of those and got burned. My opinion is there is no such thing as I got burned. It’s the distributor’s responsibility to learn, then implement. If someone got burned, they burned themselves. Network marketing is a business of action. No action, no results. It’s just that simple.

Reason #2. You must invest capital in your business.

Starting a home business requires an investment on your part. I believe that there is no such thing as something for nothing. If you start a business for nothing, it’s probably worth just that. If you don’t have any skin in the game, how serious are you taking your business? In addition, to the initial investment, you will need to make a monthly commitment towards products and services.

Reason #3. You have to sell something.

What real business do you know of that doesn’t require sales? A brick and mortar business must make sales in order to make a profit. An internet business works the same way. As an entrepreneur, you are in the business of sales. It’s the only way you are going to make a profit. In order to get a job, you must sell yourself to the employer. The interviewer must feel that you are the right person for the position. If you are married or in some kind of intimate relationship, you had to sell yourself to your mate or you would still be a virgin(there’s nothing wrong with that). Read and watch material on prospecting to sharpen you sales skills. Sales is your number one business skill.

Reason #4. I don’t like people and you need people to


Can you name one function of a civilized world that doesn’t require people in some way? People were created to multiply the earth and bring glory to God. We were also created to help one another. So what’s this stuff about I don’t like people and you need people to join? You need people for mostly everything! Some of the best life experiences I’ve had, came from connecting with people. There is power in relationships.

In conclusion, based on my experience, these are my reasons why prospects say no to network marketing. Many prospects think they have to do network marketing strictly the old fashioned way. At the beginning, many are nervous and tend to overwhelm themselves with too much information. Furthermore, they don’t believe they can even do this business. That is why personal development is so crucial to achieving lasting success. New distributors need help as we all do. If we continue to educate our prospects, they will stop saying no and start saying yes to network marketing.

Tip #3 Help people even if they are not on your team.

In order to recruit leaders, you must be willing to help a distributors. If a home business owner calls or emails you with questions, be willing to communicate with them. There are home business owners who get signed up by absent sponsors. They feel scammed and start thinking about quitting. Although personal accountability must be taken, assisting a fellow business rep could pay off in the end. He or she may spend money with you in the long run. You never know, that distributor may decide to work with you and become your next leader!

There are several MLM sponsoring tips on how to attract prospects you. When you first get started in MLM, you are told to make a list 50 business builders and 50 product consumers. This list includes family, friends and co workers. The problem is that most people you talk to, are not interested in starting an MLM business or any enterprise.

We are told to prospect at shopping malls and coffee shops. There are people who do quite well from mall and restaurant prospecting. I believe that attracting prospects to you is smarter than chasing them. It can be quite frustrating to go after prospects only to have them reject your opportunity. So how do we attract people to us especially without raising a red flag in their minds?

There are several ways to attract prospects to you. One way is through content marketing. Content is king. Your content must be educational and encouraging to your readers. Furthermore, it must be actionable. Offer your literature through a blog or a video. Lastly, your content should be original.

Another way you can attract prospects to you is by commenting and making informative statements on business forum sites. Based on the questions asked, your comments to those questions can build authority for you and attract visitors to your website or blog. The more eyeballs you get, the greater the potential for sales. A third way to attract prospects is to give something away for free. People love the word free.
